Happy Monday! Classes are underway and the girls found their way around camp to experience the awesomeness that Pipsico has to offer. Fishing, climbing, archery, woodworking, canoeing, all manner of nature and science, swimming, lifesaving, they really have quite the variety of classes.
The first years are having fun in the Huskinaw program in the morning, cooling off in the pool in the afternoon, followed by leather working and then spent the evening in the ax yard earning the Totin’ chip.
Only slightly cooler than yesterday, the girls kept cool by drinking water and a few trips to the trading post for frozen treats.
Thunder teased us all afternoon with the promise of rain but the rain waited to arrive just before bed time. Now we get to fall asleep to the sound of the rain on our tent and dreaming of the relief it will bring tomorrow.
