Flamingo Friday is here and our scouts wore their bright neon pink and flamingo bling!
We started the morning being honored with the Awesome stick at morning flags. The Awesome stick is a wooden staff passed to a different troop each morning and evening at flags that each troop decorates to represent their troop. They added items from their daily themes and returned the stick to be passed on at the evening campfire.
Girls finished up their merit badges, started packing for home and finished up paperwork for patrol and troop awards.
Ms. Annie was honored by the aquatics director with a Staff shirt for all the time she spent in the pool this week helping with swim instruction. She is amazing!
Closing campfire has us singing, the girls led two songs while other troops shared their skits and songs. Program areas gave out awards and our girls brought home a few. They have plenty to be proud of from their week at Site 9.
