So far, since its creation in February of 2019, Troop 192 has proudly watched 6 girls attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Girls in our troop have a strong support system of adults that encourage them to strive for this high achievement and help to foster an environment where the skills necessary can be grown.
Additionally, we have multiple Life Scouts who are well on their way to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout!
Troop 192 has sent multiple crews to National Scouting America High Adventure Bases.
In 2021, the troop sent a crew to Florida Sea Base on the Scuba Adventure trek. There, Scouts spent a week in the Florida Keys scuba diving and learning about our coral reefs and how we can help protect them.
In 2023, the troop sent a crew to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. They spent 9 days in the backcountry backpacking through the mountains and participating in a wide range of programs such as Native American history, crate stacking, archery, and more! In 2025, the troop plans to send another crew on a 7 day trek.
In 2023, the troop also sent 2 Scouts and a Scouter to the National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia as part of the Baltimore Area Council contingent. Those Scouts had the opportunity to participate in hundreds of programs and events and meet Scouts from across the country.
In 2024, one Scout from the troop attended the 39th Blair Atholl Patrol Jamborette in Scotland as a member of the Baltimore Area Council contingent. The Scouts had the chance to tour Scotland before the Jamborette and see many historic castles, monuments, and cities. Once at the Jamborette, they met Scouts from 12 different countries and participated in unique program opportunities, some of which are not avaliable in the United States.
